I had a 10-hour layover in Singapore last week, but that stupid app -- which gets activated right after passing immigration -- takes 24 hours from that moment to process.
In others words, I either snuck into some buildings, or had to have sparring words with some pricks at Ngee Ann City. After 30 minutes of arguing, speaking Indonesian helped me get into Takashimaya, which is the only place I ever want to go when in town.
Singapore, you can shove that app something fierce.
