We stayed here recently for one night and really liked the hotel. We expected there would be lots of kids and it was okay with us Used the complimentary theme park tickets to access the WB just steps away and had lots of fun. It is good to know that even though the adjacent DoubleTree is also steps away from the Warner Bros., they do not offer complimentary tickets to any of the theme parks. The only other hotel that offers this is the Hilton Yas Island if you book with them. We made a mistake and booked at the DoubleTree on our 3rd night in Abu Dhabi thinking we would be able to visit the Ferrari World for free and ended up paying more than 600 AED for 2 persons when we could have added about 200 AED for our room rate in DT and stayed at the WB or the Hilton. Lesson learned. As a diamond member, got upgraded from King Artists Room to Directors Room and got the usual welcome amenity of WB pralines and cheese plate. Breakfast at Sidekicks was full but we were able to find seats outside with nice views of the DT and the family pool.
