Thanks for all reply’s. We’ve been to SFO and returned. Just to complete we arrived at MAN at 3:50am (by taxi) and went to checkin which we expected to open at 4:30am according to MMB. The MMB checkin desks completely wrong numbers! Anyway found correct checkin desks, others already there and queueing. Just after 4am someone came out and started forming a Verify and a non-Verify line. I’d Verifyed us all ( but couldn’t OLCI). Got to desk pretty quick, showed Verify green tick, handed over passports and checked in by 4:15am. Went to join security queue. Joined ‘quick line’ as was flying Club. Person in front at checkin joined ‘slow line’. He cleared security first which whilst a horrendous queue had more channels open so he just got through a minute or two before us. Total time in security about 30 mins. Went to T3 ‘BA contracted part of’ Escape lounge and relaxed/breakfasted etc till pretty much on time flight to LHR which was rammed. All in all a relatively pleasant experience but a bit long winded. The stress levels rapidly reduced. The rest of journey was OK apart from change of plane on outbound so no CS.
