That is a bummer as I mentioned, I am glad I got to experience the property while it was part of Hyatt though. I would bet that this breakup was Hyatt's doing if I had to guess. The cash paid by Hyatt to the SER on point redemptions must have been extremely high. A standard room was going for well over 2k per night during my stay and I remember thinking that Hyatt must had lost a fortune on my point redemption. My redemption also happened during that crazy promo period where Hyatt was giving you 25 or 30% back on point redemptions which made it an even bigger hit.
