Double-barreled question, as I only just noticed I can transfer Aegean points to Accor. (At a terrible, terrible rate -- 2,000 A3 points = 500 ALL -- but I never use my A3 points, so...)

--Does anyone know long it takes for transfers from airlines to show up? (I was about to do an experimental xfer of 2,000 points and then got scared by the T&C saying if they haven't shown up in 6 weeks, THEN you can ask after them. I would need these points next week. And I stay at Accor hotels literally once every two years, so I don't want anything to expire...as all my previous points have.)

--When paying with cash + miles on the Accor site...do I have to have points in my account for the option to show? I've looked at a lot of hotels and none have the "coins" icon (though I'm not sure exactly where to look), and I figure maybe I'm not seeing it because I have a zero balance? I see from previous posts that the website can be inconsistent, though, so I'll check again later. (If anyone knows specifically about the Sofitel Athens Airport hotel, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!)
