I have a suspicion my question is a stupid one, and if so I apologise. My excuse is the one time I've flown with Iberia they didn't even realise that my ticket (booked through Amex) was in business class! Excuse provided, here's my question. I am going to buy a Business class return LON-MAD (probably) on Iberia flights. Does it make any difference at all whether I book through Iberia or BA? I don't care if the Avios earned differs a bit and the price is the same on both sites. What I wonder about is whether there are any differences concerning e.g. seat selection practicalities, dealing with irrops online etc., that make one site or the other the better choice? Will the booking reference be the same so that if I book with BA I can access the booking on the Iberia site with no hassle? Thanks in advance for any reassurance or advice!
