Does Hyatt frown on booking back to back stays to get cheaper rates?

At some hotels, if your stay includes 1 expensive night, they charge you the high rate for all the nights, even if those nights would be cheaper when booked alone.

So, you can sometimes save a lot of money (hundreds of dollars per night) by booking back to back stays. I've done this before (the hotel just merged the stays some time before check in and nothing got repriced) but I haven't done it in a long time (since pre-pandemic) and I'm not sure if policy has changed (or if enforcement has changed).

The particular example that I'm looking at has night 1 for $180, night 2 for $196, and night 3 for $389. But if I book all 3 nights as one stay, it charges $389 for each night, so the savings by booking as three 1-night stays would be $401 (plus taxes)
