I have a QR economy flight coming up at the end of this month and expect to receive the normal upgrade offer in the coming days. Today I joined QR Privilege Club and linked my BA Executive Club account which has about 30,000 Avios. So my question is this: If and when the upgrade offer comes, can I use Avios for the upgrade, or is it purely cash? All helpful suggestions welcome.
