If my QF107 SYD-LAX today is not an -ER, I wander back from the pointy end and have a look for you - just to see how the other folks are coping with the 14 hour flight .

I should not be so rude - I have suffered the 14 hours in WHY on many occasions. Which is why I now pay the diff between the WHY (B) fare and DCIR22 or DONE4 fare, and this time using 4 UC's to get into Zone A.

The flight is not showing on the departures board yet so not sure which gate/aircraft operating.

Edited to add: Just checked with the desk agent here in the SYD F lounge and we are leaving from gate 10 which is in clear sight from my seat in the lounge - and it is VH-OEI, so a 747-400ER today, so I can't verify for you today.
