Summer/fall availability fell to almost zero during end of Feb/early March. Prior to that, it wasn't bad, could still pick up a mileage flight or two during a 7 day span. We just took the family to UK for 22.5k each way, and one of the kids just flew from LHR to LIH for 22.5k which was a great bargain. I think it's the uptick in travellers this summer. Prices also have skyrocketed, from around $500 rt to $1200 rt in coach on BA. You may have to wait for another surge to find reasonable flights this year. We booked this year's travel during the delta wave, taking advantage of low volume of travellers.
