This is my experience at most large major airports. The hotels are generally tired, abused, and worn - even the nicer ones. I usually take the Crowne Plaza down the road a bit and it's OK for a night. Right as Covid was breaking out, I spent 2 nights at the Westin and thought it was a good bit nicer for not much more money. I use the running trail along the park for a nice, flat 4 mile run and the restaurants nearby are good if you've got a car. I have an upcoming stay in May and will try dropping my rental car the night before my 8am flight. Hope that saves some time vs. driving all the way past the airport to drop the car and ride the tram back to the terminal.
