This is excellent advice; every time I have taken the 1020 departure from LHR, it has arrived late at HEL. Doing the TLL run in 2017, we had a night in Helsinki on Finnair for this reason (plus EC261 compo and all court costs,after I literally had to send in the bailiffs to prise the cash out of Finnair's cold, cold hands!).
