Service was almost laughable, no pdb, first drink nearly 75 mins post takeoff (no chop at all), FAs cursing and loudly talking about their tinder and grindr dates in the city (I couldn’t give a hoot, but there was a family in row 1 that was clearly uncomfortable), dessert (frozen ice cream) served 2 hours after meal service, and nuts served 40 mins before landing. The chicken dish itself was pretty mediocre; rice actually was pretty good, chicken wasn’t dry but was absolutely unseasoned. I was hoping there would’ve been a starter too, but alas. I’m overall glad I picked AS just to try them, but I’m pretty sure I’m gonna stick to AA for transcons

Interesting that they served ice cream as the dessert--normally there is a plated dessert on the tray with the meal.....lots of flights in F on AS and I've never had ice cream on AS so this is a welcome change in my book....now if I could get them to put a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top of a warm chocolate chip cookie, I would consider that a win.
