Flight 115 on Dec 6th lhr-jfk. Seat map shows a relatively empty flight in coach - at least 1/4 of the seats empty. But availability tool is showing Y7 B0.
Is it possible that despite not being full, they wont sell any cheap tickets on this flight as they know that if people need to be on the first flight out on a Monday morning they will pay top dollar for it?
I know seat map doesnt show tickets purchased that have not been assigned seats but there seem to be too many open seats on this flight given that there is no B class?
Anyone have any idea what is going on? I would like to know so that I can decide if I should upgrade or hope for an over-sell op-up.
Many thanks
I would assume there are 7 COACH Seats left for sale, if there were more, it would show Y9.
People love to talk about these op-up, but in all my years of flying I've only gotten that a handful of time - wouldn't count on it.
