It is a DFW-LHR marketed by BA (bought it off the BA website), but operated on American metal in Flagship First (it's booked into full-fare F).
I sort of got confused by the disconnect between what the OP posted on the change in T&Cs and then what's listed on the website...
Then you are in for sure. All that matters is its AA metal on a qualifying flight.
Amazingly, for a change i read into something in the simplest form, w/ out my usual excessive details & complications and was right lol
