Covid-19 death counts in the regional big boy during recent weeks are still part of a peak wave during this pandemic.
Norway has around half the population of Sweden, and the Covid-19 scene was nowhere near as bad in Norway as in Sweden or even in Denmark. Denmark and Sweden are more densely populated and more populous than Norway. “Slow the testing down” has been a factor in case numbers in recent weeks. Those case numbers can’t mask deaths or even workplace and school place absences in recent weeks in SAS’s home area.
Does an SAS pilot calling out sick for a week or two mean a bigger drop in income for the pilot than would be the case for an SAS FA calling out sick for the same time? It seems like most SAS crew members don’t seem to really care about make use for themselves or believe in masks doing anything to better protect/maximize their SAS-paid income for this part of the year.
