Has anyone been to Ethiopia recently? I'm reading conflicting information about the COVID testing rules... one says you need a PCR test and another says you can get by with an Antigen test. Any experiences so far?
We're flying JNB-ADD-FRA-ORD (on an award ticket of course...) and will be in Addis Ababa for 12+ hours during the day for a layover. We're of course planning a day outside of the airport but want to hear some of your thoughts/experiences. I understand that visa-on-arrival is stopped right now, is the only option the pre-arrival e-visa? Also wondering how the transit situation is for long layovers (on an award ticket if that part matters). Thanks in advance!
