Depending on the time of transaction on Thursday, this would normally be billed by BA on Friday, and this process does also run on Saturday so they’ve now had two chances to submit it. Once billed it changes from Pending to Confirmed on your Amex account. So I would expect this now not to go through. Please do report back either way though.
