You will have to need to contact them. They don’t have to allow you to fly from A to B and E to F as this is a different itinerary.
When you have FB Gold or Platinum status then I don’t think it’ll be a problem. But they don’t have to, I don’t think you are entitled to it.
I do not think that the situation is that clear-cut, legally speaking, under Reg 261/2004 and I am not aware of any caselaw that would have clarified this.
