To pay $1K in taxes, the fee is $18.70. So you get billed $1018.7 on your credit card. With the Chase Freedom card, you get 1.5 points per dollar so 1528 points. Divide the $18.7 fee by the 1528 points and it's 1.22 cents per point.
Right. I wasn't calculating in the fee. So even better.
