Just did a 45 minute hop to DTW. It was a full flight and I was sitting in 5A in C+ in a CRJ900. While other people were boarding, a woman comes up to me and claims that I was sitting in her seat. I tell her that this was my seat and my boarding pass said 5A. She then says that she's a DM and asks what I status have, to which I respond that my company had bought me this seat. She throws a fit that she deserves to sit there because she's a DM and says that "You don't have any right to sit there because you don't have any status" and tries to force me out of the seat.

The flight attendants saw this and tried to explain to her that this was indeed my seat after looking at my phone, but she kept huffing and puffing that I didn't deserve to sit there while she did. The authorities eventually came and removed her from the flight despite her screams of her saying that she needed to make it to the important meeting. The flight attendants then apologized for her behavior and got me something to drink. I'm waiting for my next flight right now in DTW and I could have never imagined that fate would celebrate me achieving Flying Blue Gold status through a DYKWIA.
