Maybe that’s open to question,
orbitmic and would depend very much on just what happens to be served up on any given flight.
Have a quick peek - for example - at the photo of a horrid-looking ‘minced bacon’ sandwich / roll, as posted just recently by
citiflyerUK on the main Club World catering thread, and it really is hard to imagine that
any self-catered items could be less attractive. I know that, in such circumstances, I’d be envious if I spotted a fellow pax tucking into a quality ‘picnic’ from one of those LHR foodie outlets.
On a wider note, perhaps a mini cool-bag would help a fair bit with keeping take-on-board food at an acceptable temperature.
