Thank you FlyerTalk for always coming through! Our origin airport is JAX, so luckily neither of the domestic stops are too much back-tracking. My husband hates waiting in airports and these are pretty decent on that front- MIA has about a 2 hour layover, and ATL/CDG are each just over an hour. It does worry me a bit about that short of a layover in CDG, but I tell myself DL wouldn't schedule it if it was impossible (I know I know). We are returning to the US on a transatlantic cruise, so we are only flying to BCN, so that simplifies things as well. Given what ATOBTTR stated about concerns with AF and the extra problem potentials, I'm leaning toward picking the one stop AA product. Delta is much better at marketing their product if they are so similar....
And thank you for the bulkhead tip. I do believe these are still available. I tend to shy away from them on domestic routes because I like to nest, but excellent points about the reclining and bathroom.
