Not to hijack this thread but the reference to the 5 am taxi makes me think of one of my favorite airline ads 'Delta 4am' - https://www.ispot.tv/ad/Acw1/delta-air-lines-4-am - its only 1 minute long!
I'm retired now, so try to avoid those really early morning flights!
