My fault for not reading properly before I arrived but the total cost for 2 nights is €483 and I expected to be paying around half that but it’s split as €425 for the first night and €58 for the second (free night). To say that you can stay here for €58 is absurd, surely this isn’t in the spirit of the free w/e night?
When you checked in and noticed this, did you happen to do a test booking for a single night on Saturday? I can't do it, as the hotel is showing no rooms available, but for subsequent Saturdays (where available) the price is around 350-400 EUR. So a bit less than your Friday, but hardly the huge discrepancy between the two nights. Hard to believe that an IC in a major European city would cost 58 EUR on a Saturday in the spring. This would seem to be either a simple mistake, or a more inscrutable bookkeeping scheme. Either way, it would seem unlikely that had you booked Saturday and Sunday that you would have paid only 58 EUR for the two nights. Only way to know for sure is to ask at the hotel. Please let us know if you get any clarification.
