Had a chat on April 3 with one of the delightful UC agents about the VIP lounge. She said it is scheduled to open late-May but cautioned that's aspirational (but she said it absolutely will open as there will not be enough space in the UC once all 21 daily flights are running). She also said it was uncertain at this time whether it would offer enhanced food/beverage vs just the same offerings as the UC but serve as a quieter overflow space for GS (and guests). She seemed to imply the latter is more likely. That would be a shame and a downgrade from pre-Covid days, but it's still a nice space, and the current UC food/beverage options are pretty good indeed.
