737s have been flying to/from the Islands for more than a decade before Southwest showed up. Hawaiian (before swap to A321s), United, WestJet, Alaska, Southwest, American, all do. United, for at least 10 years - maybe more.

I think even Aloha, in it’s dying days, did.
