Became a flyertalk member just to post here I have been following this thread for a few months and now that my stay is coming up very soon (third week of April), there has been a lot more communication from the hotel, so I thought I'd share some updates/change to the info on the wiki as well ask about your experiences:

1) Is there anyone who has arrived later than 3:30pm and had to take the domestic flight and speedboat? If so, did they charge you for the speedboat? Our flight arrives (DOH to MLE) at 3:20pm and we're a little uneasy about missing the last seaplane. We got an email saying, "Domestic flight will be arranged without additional charge, however speedboat will be charge additional fee $985.60 inclusive of taxes per boat per way." We were completely shocked as this extra charge of the speedboat was news to us. Anyone have any experience with this and can shed some light? We definitely do not want to paying almost 1K more...

2) Info that differs from wiki: Seaplane is now $600 inclusive of taxes, not $590. The honeymoon benefit of the Afternoon Tea is no longer honored (wiki still has it listed). Honeymoon dinner is currently held at Mandhoo (wiki has it for Vilu).

3) We booked our stay on points for the sunrise water villa. We wanted to split our stay between the overwater villa and the beach villa, so per the wiki "If you are wishing to split your redemption stay between Over Water Villa & Beach Villa, contact the hotel directly to split the stay between the two room types. The reservations team will be more than happy to accommodate the request," we reached out. The first person who got back to us said that we needed to contact Hilton about that because it was a stay booked on points. That was strange. I emailed another person (Sameer) and he was able to split our stay no problem. So, we encountered a bit of inconsistent communication, but overall no major issue and were able to get it resolved quickly.

Also wanted to shoutout Sameer, Christy, and Azeem who were very helpful and communicative in helping us book all that we're doing during our stay!
