Apologies for some missing pictures. I forgot to save a few that I posted on Instagram Stories . The food was solid except for the steak main, do not order that! It was tough as an old boot. Service was still mostly pre-plated except for the soup and first entree. The Turkish desserts (same as starflyergold above) were delicious, and I liked the nut mix they had this time around - lots of pistachios. 2nd meal service was started 90 minutes before landing, which is an improvement over how early it usually happens.


Menu


Soup + seafood appetizer. Both pretty good, soup ladled by the "chef"


Steak & salad: Very tough "steak", my seatmate had the seabass which looked much better.


Dolma and Karniyarik: Delicious! Comfort-food, not fancy but much better than first main
