Not sure what you mean about "who gets assigned the window seat" - all A and K are windows on long haul.
Thank you for replying
FlightDetective . My service has the standard seat map with rows 1-7 on the ‘A’ side all labelled A seats which alternate beside the aisle or beside the window.
There are a total of 30 seats in both the standard EI and ex-QR business cabins. QR only has 5 rows. That would mean that seat shuffling is required to fit everyone into the different layout. What I am keen to avoid is my window seat becoming a ‘B’ seat in the aisle once the shuffling is done. It may be as simple as 1-5A retain there seats as currently selected just wondering if anyone knows if that is the case.
I can’t change my seat online now for a service weeks away which makes me wonder if the ex-QR aircraft are assigned to all the short haul routes - would make sense as then all long haul would retain the standard layout.
