Possible to walk from LGA Terminal B to C on foot? [no]

It’s a bad transfer, given the amount of construction at the Delta Terminals C/D. The inter terminal shuttle busses run counter-clockwise from C to B and not in the reverse and I’m not sure what the walking conditions are between B and C. There’s no bus stop at D, so if your flight is departing from a D gate, you would need to walk through the construction zone from C to D and clear TSA there or enter C, clear security, and then take the airside shuttle from C to D.
