Picked a random day in summer in Seattle (peak season) and the W Seattle, Sheraton Grand, Westin are all available for under 50k. Portland had multiple options downtown (The Nines, Hi-Lo, The Bidwell among them). San Diego had the Westin Gaslamp and the Guild, Marriott Marquis at the Marina. Maybe it’s your dates?

I burned a 50k cert pre-deval for London and while the hotel I booked is now over 50k (but bookable with a point boost, should Marriott get off their spotted behinds and implement them), but other hotels are lower in price and bookable. Seems kind of mixed bag to me.
