I understand the necessity to close the hotel to give housing to Ukrainian refugees, but I cannot understand why they are not bound by the IHG Booking Guarantee, customers are bound by it.
They’re guaranteed 100% occupancy and don’t care about those of us who have already booked. It’s appalling behaviour.
