TK won't necessarily release all of their inventory to alliance partners, which is why you might not see nonstops on UA's site that you might see on TK's. This can change with time but there's no guarantees. I don't know what dates or class you're looking at, but I can see UA pricing direct flights at 33k coach/77k biz each way, compared to TK 30k/45k. Sometimes it works in your favor and sometimes it doesn't, that's the game we play. Or you use chase portal as guv suggested, but that's going to cost you way more. Only other solutions are cash, or you open a citi premier or capone venture, get the bonus and transfer to TK
