Just had a 2 night stay here. I really like this hotel still and the canopy concept, although I can't offer any comparison to the other Hilton properties in Zagreb. I like the location and easy walking distance to most sights, some great restaurants and bars and the upper town.

As already mentioned check in quite slow, no online check in or digital key even after passports registered, forms signed etc. This may be down to Croatian law as we are at the Hilton Rijeka and the check in experience was exactly the same.

Pre upgraded 3 days before to a Premium room rather than a junior suite as reported recently. Fruit plate, chocolate bar and cherry juice in the room. There was beer from the rather nice Garden Brewery in the room when we last stayed in 2019 but not this time so looks like this has gone. It is still available in the bar and the grab and go selection in reception for purchase.

Rooms modern and stil in great condition, the bar area had a great vibe and seemed popular with locals as well as guests. Breakfast felt like an improvement since our last time there, with smoked salmon, good quality cold cuts, smoothies and various hot options including local specialities. We haven't had dinner in the restaurant as it's quite expensive and prefer to eat in town.

Parking is 150 HRK in the car park of the attached shopping center. On entering the car park turn left (it's signposted for the hotel) and there are spaces adjacent to the lift to the lobby. The website says self parking is a very pricey EUR40. This is not correct and I think is the valet price which isnt currently available. 150 HRK is around EUR20.
