Every time the word "Marriott" is pronounced in any of their own materials, it rhymes with chariot. Even knowing this, I still say "marry-ott".

It reminds me of when I was working for Disney on the Shanghai project. My whole life I thought the city was pronounced "shang-hi", but was quickly corrected that it is actually "shong-hi". So I pronounced it that way in all my Disney interactions, but have since gone back to the old way because it just sounds so pretentious to say it the right way!
