I don't get that after busting a gut to get Club Suite rolled out if they're matching it with prison food.

Especially as the people booking J at the moment seem to be Holiday makers looking for a one off experience.

What would help BA is to publish a road map back to normal catering. Like when the new concept was brought in start with NYLON and have all routes back within 3 months.

In the mean time actually pay the caterers to make better one tray specials.
Also, I understand ‘lack of crew’ on an overnight transatlantic but on a 13 hour flight made up of predominantly leisure travellers, if the meal service takes a bit longer, so be it. I’m sure you could still get everyone served, achieve crew rest, and have time for customers to sleep. Even if first service took 3 hours and second service 2 hours, that’s still c8 hours of ‘lights out’.

I appreciate covid recovery will take time and there are supply chain issues but passing this off as ‘normal’ CW is not really on.

My bet is that these catering reductions will end around the same time as most people have spent their FTVs - as a lot of the full cabins will be coming (I’d think) from money taken during lockdowns etc, so cashflow / cash out must be under scrutiny. I’m waiting for BAbybel to be listed on the cheeseboard.
