Well, I think I got the HNL-SMF upgrade. It still says pending but I now show seat 1G assigned. Flight is this Friday so looks like happened at 72 hours out. Fingers crossed for the return. Wish had more certificates as now going to Vegas later this month for work. May try for miles upgrades.

Edit to add: Got the official email this morning that indeed the upgrade for my Friday HNL-SMF has cleared using 1 of my Platinum certificates.
