Boarding pass shows incorrect status level

Evening,

I’m currently Silver status, which I reached in December.

I booked a flight in February, where the BA system wouldn’t let me choose seats without paying. I contacted their support team and after a bit of back and forth they manually put me in my requested seats.

My BA account shows me as silver, however today when I checked in for the flight both my mobile and paper boarding passes showed my status as bronze.

I’m well over the Silver requirements, more than 4 flights and ~100 tier points short of Gold. Can anyone shed light on why the system - at least in some places - records me as Bronze?

I know it’s very much a first world problem, but hoping to avoid having to contact BA each flight booking for seat assignments.

It shows the correct exec number on my boarding pass, the only thing I can think is that it’s somehow picked up my wife’s status as she’s on the same booking and is bronze.
