AwardHacker web site was the one who stated MB 1.25 ratio and stated 15kmiles n VS sea-muc one way.
Guess both are wrong.

VS web site is as you suggested 3 to 1 ratio, 60k MB points-25k VS miles.
I need 75k VS mile--- 180k MB points for one economy ticket(sea-muc), $45 with stopover in AMS. Not bad
Hoping t find the 15k one way Award hacker claims can be found of VS.

Never said VS was free stopover---VS site says for additional 5k miles you can have a stopover.

As for July---yes it's summer, high season, but very few FF seats available even booing 4 months in advance.
