Staying at the hotel right now. The only place that was open for food was Dual Citizen on the Lobby level, everything else is still temp closed.
The rooms are ok but slightly dated/tired.
Regarding elite status recognition(Plat), I was upgraded to a corner room on a higher floor(same room type, no suite upgrade) and could only choose points for the welcome benefit (since you already get breakfast with the lounge access).
The recently rennovated lounge on the 43rd floor has some great views and a lot of seating, even during the busiest hours. I've had both breakfast and hors d'oeuvres at the lounge and like the person a few comments above me said, decent selection but the quality was so-so.
Selection off the top of my head
Breakfast:
Selection of toast and bagels with jam, butter, cream cheese
Assorted Cold Cuts
Assorted cheese
Yogurt and oatmeal
English Sausage
Bell pepper frittata
Yukon Potatoes
Pastries
Fruit Smoothie Shooters
Hors d'oeuvres:
Assorted bread slices
Assorted Cold Cuts
Assorted Cheese
Salad Cup
Shrimp Cocktail
Edamame
Some kind of slow-cooked fish that was marinated in miso.
All non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary and for coffee, you can choose to make some yourself at the coffee machine(has to-go cups available next to it) or ask one of the people at the bar for a cup made by the espresso machine.
Overall it's a decent business hotel in a great location that just happens to be under renovation.
Hope this helps anyone that has an upcoming trip here!
