That's a pretty big and/or.

I use my Reserve for the companion benefit in F, which gets me a ~$1,000 ticket for the price of the $550 AF, and having free domestic lounge access thrown in is an excellent perk. On the basis of the cert alone, $1,000 > $550 so yes the card is trivially worth having. Your cert use case may vary.
