They were all disabled some months ago just on the A320s but I think that the issue was resolved. Nowadays it’s just a case of asking the crew to ensure they’re turned on unless there happens to be an issue with the particular flight you’re on - but generally they should be working now on all A32x aircraft.
Yes, at least some of them now appear to be fixed based on what I’ve seen on recent flights. However the crew do need to push a button in the overhead panel to turn it on.
