I flew BKK-HEL-AGP yesterday. As my transit in HEL was 15 hours, I booked into the hilton, and returned to T2 a couple of hours before HEL -AGP and was looking forward to a nice dinner in the lounge. In the shengen lounge, literally all of the food on offer was vegetarian. No meat whatsoever (apart from the salmon soup, which was quite tasty).

Then on HEL - AGP they only had one option; vegetarian again. Fortunately it was indian vegeterian, which is one cuisine I really enjoy. Whilst it wasnt the best I have had it was certainly ok for airline food.

I know the whole plant based thing is fashionable at the moment, but is this normal for Finnair to only serve vegetarian food in the shengen area?
