According to https://www.delta.com/us/en/skymiles...fits#airfrance DL Platinum and Diamond are eligible for free "Seat Plus" selection. OP is DL Plat. I'm not sure what Seat Plus refers to and unclear whether exit row is off limits or no.
Seat Plus are seats with a benefit like a duo seat in the B777 or a seat in the front in an A320 or a seat on the upper deck on the A380, unfortunately not operational anymore.
