PreCOVID-19, there was an explicit SQ policy that passengers could check in at SIN 24 or 48 hours in advance of departure. I used this to have dinner in The Private Room and spend the night at the transit hotel before a morning departure. IIRC I had a 6 pm checkout time at my hotel, so I probably arrived at SIN around 7 pm.
