The Westin has rooms that are closer to the beach and does have a lounge. The public areas were modern, the rooms were not. The rooms although large, needed renovation. The lounge had to be the worst I have ever come across. I don't even know how they can even call it a lounge. The food offerings were awful. I didn't visit for breakfast because I chose it as my amenity. In the evenings there were no hot options. There was salad, some type of meat balls, dried fruit, nuts and bite size 1"x1" cake portions. The only time the staff spoke to me was asking for my room number not only upon entry but also when I sat down. I thought this was a one-ff but it was my experience during my 5 night stay.

Le Meridien, the public areas were tired. There was an adult-only pool. I personally didn't see any kids at either property. The grounds were very well kept as found at The Westin.

Both resorts needed a renovation. Now that Le Meridien has completed theirs, there is no reason I would stay at The Westin.
