I honestly thought this outcome is to be expected. I wonder if anyone has tried to contact the property directly and "work something out" besides cancelling and getting a refund.

I totally expect it to happen, I’m just trying to figure out the timing. I don’t use my plat card as an everyday spending card, as the earn rates are kind of low, so I don’t pay attention too much to charges on the card. It’s already been 6 days now and it hasn’t been clawed back yet, so I’m just curious about the timing.
