I booked an intra-europa flight on AF metal with Flying Club points in 2021 (also flown in 2021) due to decent redemption rates. I messaged VS to add my DL skymiles number to allow for AF lounge access. I was surprised to see that the flight posted as a cash ticket on AF to my skymiles account. Don't recall I've tried this any other year. Perhaps this was an exception of some sort?
