The Virgin rep stated that the Premium Economy seats were offered up by ANA. He made a few cursory searches for First or Business class on flights I advised him showed open seats but ANA replied in the negative via their automated booking system and that, as they say, was that. I hate to advise this but you probably want to gird your loins, empty your bladder and call Virgin to confirm.
Thanks. I will give them a call tomorrow. Similar advice on V-flyer but with a more positive outlook!
You need to speak to VS / Flying Club. It’s properly just needs VS to contact ANA who will need to refresh the booking.
You will also need to discuss a partial refund of miles/points for the cabin downgrade.
For some reason, I feel your advice might be more realistic!
